Hi. I recently purchased an LG BD590 Blu-Ray player with a hard drive, and generally I like it but I'm frustrated by the unit's inability to recognize ID3 tags on the MP3 files I copied to the hard drive. The vast majority of my music collection is a disorganized blob on the hard drive, which I can only search by filename, which is pretty much useless if I wanted to hear a whole album.
I understand the unit works better with CDs ripped directly to the hard drive rather than MP3s copied over, but I'm not terribly interested in re-ripping all my CDs. Can anyone suggest some sort of program that can do a mass conversion of MP3 files to change the ID3 tags into notations that the BD 590 will understand?
